. . .- - -. . . Inside My Thought Bubbles 🫧

My stories are my thought bubbles, reflections of life's ups and downs,
because that's how life floats

Some bubbles are about dating over 50,
and some of my bubbles are from outside of the dating world,
to remind oneself,
that it's about where we've been to where we are now.

Because, it's really about dating ourselves in every chapter-
all my bubbles are filled with lessons to be explored.

Some of my bubbles will remain blank-
leaving some words to your imagination and
to spare the hearts of those close to mine.

After all, certain truths are best left unspoken...
(Hint to a continuing theme)

All my words written are my truth,
as my heart has experienced them.

My intentions are never to hurt anyone's feelings-
but to connect by sharing something that someone else might relate to,
or to nudge a thought that hasn't surfaced yet.

To be quite honest,
I need to get these words OUT of my head so they stop spinning,
and I can sleep at night-
although I'm hoping my stories won't put you to sleep.

Most of my bubbles are just conversations between
my brain and my heart.

Sometimes my brain lectures my heart-
or should I say,
reason with it.
Sometimes my heart gently argues back,
with a whisper that echoes allllll night long.

You'd think by now these two vital organs would have grown together,
side by side,
with the experiences of my life.
After all,
they've been in it from the very beginning.

Sadly ...no.
they still battle-
each determined to be the protector of my being.
♥️ vs 🧠

This will be elaborated on throughout,
because my brain and my heart refuse to hire a mediator!

. . .- - -. . . Why I started Triumph Dating
🫧

I wanted to invite readers into my internal monologue-
share stories wrapped in metaphors and analogies;
nostalgic but grounded in real life;
reflective but not naive:
reminded to trust both intuition and observation.

I am honest about grief without blaming anyone or romanticizing unrealistically:
honoring loss without collapsing into it;
adding humor to lighten emotions.

I am not looking for my happy ending-
I am looking for my happy beginning,
and staying there.🫧
